An interstitial space between the entry drum lobby, the hospital support wing and hospital cafeteria with an uplifting garden identity is meant to be seen and used. Storefront windows and direct access provide a strong connection to this space, which has paving and seating for outside dining. The garden is an eclectic assemblage of contrasting geometric planting patches arranged in a fanciful mural on the ground plane. This uplifting garden is viewable through continuous storefront glass walls in the cafeteria and along the main corridor between the hospital and the main entry lobby in the support wing.
