This detached seven-acre corner site was annexed to the South Sacramento Medical Center. Design elements include a modest drop-off plaza at the patient entry and a staff patio with seating. Stormwater treatment swales are integrated into the landscape. The water-conserving plant material palette has a Mediterranean feel.
