An eleven-acre site bounded by a community park and a wetland corridor provides a walking link of the community trailway. connecting neighborhoods, parks, and retail shopping destinations. The site design concept is sponsored in part by the need to control and treat stormwater runoff. A wide depressed grassy swale was developed to function both as a water purification system and a park-like circulation route between parking areas and front entry of the building. A modest plaza at the main entry provides seating opportunities for passenger pick-ups and also comers and goers who may wish to pause along their way.
